In the high deserts of Colorado, Timmy is out there turning steel into something. He isn’t just building a motorcycle; he’s breeding a predator. His latest creation, Diamondback, is a hand-built tribute to the high-plains rattler, a machine that looks ready to strike before you even kick the brass.

This story started in the spring of 2025, when the hunt for parts began in earnest. Every swap meet and garage was fair game, but the real fire was lit when the Idle Hands Biker Build-Off appeared on the calendar for the summer of 2026.

At the center of the build sits a classic Shovelhead motor. Timmy pushed the limits of traditional mounting by suspending a set of split Sporty tanks and fitting them to a custom twisted backbone that defies the “safe” way of doing things. From the one-off matching wheels to the hand-tooled leather seat, every inch of this bike was built by a man who knows that if you aren’t bleeding over the chrome, you aren’t doing it right. The Diamondback isn’t just a bike; it’s a piece of the high desert, forged in a workshop and destined for the open road.
